This isn’t another newsletter about crushing it, optimizing every minute, or turning your life into a public performance. It’s the opposite. Quiet Ambitions is a (usually) weekly newsletter for people who still want more - more depth, more meaning, more freedom - but have grown tired of the noise that usually comes with it.
I write it because I’ve lived both sides. I spent years chasing the loud version of success: the long hours, the constant yes, the subtle brag disguised as transparency. It worked, until it didn’t. One day I looked up and realized I had built a life that felt thin on the inside. So I started experimenting with a quieter way. Big goals, yes. But pursued with calm energy, clear boundaries, and no need for witnesses. Progress measured in private satisfaction, not public metrics.
Here you’ll find short, honest essays about:
- Protecting your attention in a world that wants to steal it
- Choosing depth over breadth in work, money, relationships, and habits
- Building wealth, health, and purpose without burning out
- Celebrating the wins no one else sees
As well as:
- Shorter notes on various thoughts and ideas in these areas
- Update information on the apps I'm making to help facilitate these goals (you can try them for free online and upgrade if you find them useful in your daily and work life)
No hype. No overwhelm. Just practical ideas from someone still figuring it out, a few steps ahead perhaps.
Big goals, small noise.
If that sounds like the kind of ambition you’ve been looking for, I’m glad you found this corner.
Welcome and follow along.
